You asked why they would want more money, the answer is to better compete in the CL against other cashed up clubs.

Sky reporting Cashley is fielding some interest from China for the club. Will be interesting to see if it's only a partial investment into the club or a full takeover. Our new main kit sponsor is Chinese...

Could be wrong and never thought I'd say it but I hope we keep Ashley for the moment and it's just partial investment only (like Man City has). Can't recall any of the Chinese owned clubs in Europe doing particularly well off the top of my head (Inter, Espanyol, West Brom, Wolves, Villa and Brum - a lot of midlands clubs I just realised). Rafa seems happy with the current structure so as long as we don't destablise the club and undermine him, that's the main thing in the short term.

Apparently he went to a Chinese restaurant with his friends and was kept waiting for a table. Every time he asked if the table was ready the host would just say "5 minutes", and this went on for ages despite people who came in to the restaurant after them getting a table straight away. The story goes that one of the people he was with went up and tried to bribe him with money only for him to take the bribe and still not give them a table lol.
They were kept waiting so long that they eventually just left because they were late for the movie they were going to see. I think it was Plan 9 from Outer Space.
