The conspiracy part of me thinks they planned it this way so that the stadium could be sold to them for £1.Wow, they're in a bit of strife.

Selling it for nothing is better than leaking taxpayers funds for the City of London. Not many other uses for the stadium either to recoup money.

To think millions of public money is spent so they can run their football club out of that athletics bowl yet there wasn't enough money to fireproof the Grenfell Tower...They wanted to buy it originally but were knocked back.
Who do you want as the better African?
Do you have ties to Egypt?
I've been to Egypt, it was cool.Mahrez obviously. If not, N'Didi or Kelechi or Slimani, or hell, even Musa or Amartey.
Let's say a very enjoying and satisfying game with Madina Monowara. Wanted to take an Upper Egypt team to glory, and boy was it satisfying for the African experience.
Only been to Botswana, but if I had to go to Africa, Luxor would be my number 1 pick without a doubt. The riches of Upper Egypt, one hell of an open air museum!

All the best African players play or us though, your lot will have to take a step back unfortunately.
Salah and Mane with Keita on the way!![]()
Just Cairo, checked out the city, the pyramids and took a little cruise on the Nile. Pretty incredible place, keen to go back. That is indeed cool! Let me guess, Cairo? Alexandria? Pretty much anywhere on the Delta?
Bah, if Algeria qualified, it would be quite the different tale. Nigeria's best players play for us, and they will show their class both in the PL, and in the World Cup!
Salah is an interesting case. The Egypt of yesteryear were a well functioning unit, but couldn't qualify for a World Cup, yet the moment when they turn into a one man team, they finally get over the line.

I feel for Naby Keita, he will never get into a World Cup I feel.
Didnt Mahrez with African Player of the Year last year? Hold on... Imma look it up. Yeah he did, but he isnt in the nominees for this year. Didnt even make the 30 player long list??
Even Liberia nearly made it in 2002 with Weah! Keita has time but PEA is 28 so I'd say 2022 is his last chance of playing in one. He's just one of those players who plays for a fairly weak country with not many standouts. Weah had that issue as did Hyypia, Giggs and Best. Miki will most likely not feature in a Euro either let alone a WC.Very nice. Hope to get my chance to Luxor one of these days. Patras (Greece) next year, hopefully no cancellations this time around.
Guiena are an alright side, I think just in the top 10 for Africa if I recall correctly, and with the crapshoot that is African qualifying, it wouldn't surprise me if they make it ala Senegal 2002 (Over Morocco, Egypt, and Algeria!). He and PEA will make it at least once I'd say. It's not like they're playing for Liberia.
Yep, won it in 2016, and didn't get considered for this year. He was good in Europe last year, not so much the league. Then again, the fact that clubs were willing to fork more out for Glyfi than Mahrez pretty much sums it up. I would like to think that Africa has more than enough talent to produce 30 players that actually deserve to be listed.
