Get where you are going with that. But if you have read his comments, along with the emails that were leaked... it's actually a lot worse.

Addressing them as "The African Race?" That is wrong on so many levels.

Oh definitely, he's painted himself into a corner and was an absolute idiot, but the general point about having groups of players from certain regions or areas can be problematic for clubs as it can lead to cliques and issues with authority.

If we are looking at it from that point of view (and maturely, I must add if anyone else is reading in)... yes, culture is an important one to address, and I do know what you mean.

He could've handled that a lot better, and knowing the reputation of the brothers, they have a lot of work to do.

All we'd need is a LB(and we could have already just bought that in Emerson). Not sure i agree with GNev.

RB we have Azpi and Zappacosta to backup. We are set there and we also have Dijon Sterling who i rated highly coming through the academy.

CB we have AC, Luiz, Zouma, Cahill and Rudiger. Thats a pretty solid group if we go back to 2 CBs. Ampadu and JCS in the wings looking decent too.

LB im pretty excited about Emerson, he was very good last season before hurting his knee. Alonso may be obsolute in this set up though. So a backup maybe be needed here.

Drinkwater, Barkley, Bakayoko in midfield, given if it becomes a back 4 you’d presumably now play 3 in midfield not 2? Luiz has always been better in a 3. Then Courtois and Hazard’s possible sales.

Defence and CM are the least of our problems(I'd go with AC/Zouma pairing in a 2). We need attacking mids and wingers and this should be the focus in the summer, i want l
Leon Bailey to start with.
