Yeah, Eriksen and Dele for me are the biggest steals, perhaps even in the PL. Not only because of how good they are, but their increase in value is ridiculous. I doubt Levy would let them go for a combined total of under, at the least, 200m.
Yeah longevity of Lloris has him even higher for me. Started shakily but 5+ seasons where he has been in the top 3 keepers for most of them is fantastic. Plus club captaincy.

Dele by far the biggest profit making signing

They spent a shit load this summer

Keane + Siggurddson + Klassen is roughly what our best XI's fees were
Read yesterday that Everton would offload Keane in the summer.

Wonder where he'd go. Arsenal should be in for him

They have enough shit defenders. Keane looked good because he played for the most defensive side in the league with a manager who knows what he's doing.

Look at Tarkowski this season, was Keane's back-up last year and has stepped in and done even better. All down to the system.

He'd be good at United then

Not sure how it's calculated tbh. At a guess it's worked out from the number of good scoring opportunities created (and conceded) but removes the variable of whether those chances are converted to goals.

If your expected goals is much higher than your actual goals it suggests that your general play is ok, but you need to look at getting better finishers.

How does that even work?

I'm pretty sure that people who do it have divided the pitch into X amount of tiny squares and each square has a percentage that reflects how likely a chance taken from that area of the pitch is likely to score.

I think they've plotted every shot and every goal from a whole bunch of leagues since they've started collecting the stat in order to work out the chance percentage.

It's one that's often laughed at, but I think it's a really good stat. It just needs context. It's really good for showing the quality of chances, or not, that a team is getting throughout their games as well.

Poor Ryan Mason. Seems like a real nice lad career cut short far too early. To be honest didn't look like he'd get a PL career at all and then out of nowhere he came into a league cup side and went on with it. League debut in a NLD if I remember correctly. Persistence through all those early injuries real unfortunate to end so soon after it really kicked on
