Only if you're not very good at it.
lol come on mate. It's all in the hand you're dealt. It's not like it's a game that requires a wealth of knowledge or tactical thinking like Chess or something.

You could say that about any card game lol. There's definitely strategy involved.

If you say so. All I'm saying is, you don't need to be a genius to win.

If you're dealt seven numbers and you're playing someone who's been dealt a Wild, a draw four, a skip, three numbers, and a reverse, you're not going to have much chance winning.

Draw 4 challenge says hi. I'd take you to the cleaners with that hand.

Lol what a dil. You clearly don't know how to play the game.

It depends how seriously you take it, I guess.

In my family it always got very heated (and incredibly corrupt) so you'd be trying to do everything you could to win. There absolutely is a strategy to it. I'm always making note of which colours other opponents seem to be lacking, how long it's been since they played a draw two/draw four, their reactions when they pick up cards etc. I'll also hold off on playing a draw two/draw four until other's are about to run out, or until the finish line is in sight. Mostly though, I find it to be about how well you can cheat.

I don't cheat, but the rest of what you say is true - when you use reverses, skips, Draw 4s, etc. are all absolutely strategy.

I think it'd be great to have them in, I'd be wary if I was one of the top English teams though.

They'd probably have to start in league one or league two.

However, they have enough financial clout at the moment (despite shit TV revenue anyway) and huge supporter bases, attendances, academies etc that they'd be in the prem well within a decade.

Once they got their hands on EPL TV revenue, their history and prestige would dictate they'd challenge most of the top sides.

Celtic is one of the largest supported sides throughout the world, especially in the US, they'd be bought pretty quickly by some big conglomerates if they had EPL revenue, similar to Utd, City, Chelsea, Liverpool etc.

I think Rangers would be more on that Everton, West Ham kind of level.

It would certainly make the league far more competitive in the long run.

An Old Firm derby with EPL revenue and buying power would be the best game in the league imo.

Those are reasons for why it would be great for Celtic and Rangers to be in England. There's a lot less to be gained from the English side. 99% of clubs know the eventual result would be themselves pushed 2 spots down the table.

1) No. Unless you're a former FL club or a club with substantial backing, not a lot of clubs outside the FL can afford to go professional.

2) I think if there's ever a 5th tier, they could get in that way. Don't see (or want) them getting straight into the PL. If they get into English football, it'll be as low as possible. That and the Old Firm in England would get more backing from UEFA/FIFA than a Super League. And despite idiots who think otherwise, Celtic and Rangers getting into English football wouldn't be some precedent for clubs all over to just jump to better leagues. Celtic and Rangers pay their taxes to the same people as Manchester United and Liverpool do which is a big thing people overlook whether accidentally or deliberately.

3) The leagues should stay separate unless special circumstances permit otherwise. I'm in favour of a British Cup replacing the League Cups if anything.

It would be a precedent. The FA and SFA are different associations.

Somebody mentioned Monaco but that's a lame comparison. There's only 1 team in the tiny country of Monaco.

Fonte and Gaitan, to a lesser extent, I can understand making the move there but Carrasco has potentially really ****ed himself. He could hope for a Paulinho-like revival but Dalian doesn't seem to be the club to do it at. At least Paulinho played for, usually, the strongest club in the league.

Paulinho was also still a starter for Brazil when he was in China and played well for them. YFC isn't getting past Eden or Thorgan at this rate and Leon Bailey could potentially play for Belgium as well so his options are incredibly limited.

Yeah that's true.

Me and my dad would play when I was a kid and obviously that changes things - guess that is where I was taking my comment from.

When I would play with friends we'd always rig it so someone cops it lol.
