Paul Holes is on The Murder Squad podcast and he talks about this as one reason to keep the Death Penalty on the books - not just DeAngelo - because it can be held over a SK to divulge more or plead guilty

Yet California hasnt used the DP since 1972 and as of 2019 there is a moratorium - so I am slightly confused why he went this route
