FTA-TV The Outsider

Not sure if there is already a thread for this. Searching "outsider" on a sport forum proved difficult.

In any case, best Stephen King adaptation for a long time for me (movie or otherwise). Brooding, quick moving and suspenseful. The supernatural theme is present but not laid on too thick like lots of King's stuff.

Aussie actor Ben Mendelsohn is excellent and probably makes the show for me.

8/10 would recommend.

Yeah it was well done. Check out Mr Mercedes if you haven't seen it.

thought it was ok, but was very different from the book.
I feel they missed a big chance for continuity in changing from the actress who played the part of Holly in Mr Mercedes, she was excellent in that.`

Really enjoyed this. Had a few flaws but had me entertained throughout.

Looking forward to an improved season 2.

The first two episodes just dropped on Foxtel tonight. It’s written by Stephen King and is directed by and stars Jason Bateman. Very intriguing so far and has me invested. Ben Mendelsohn is excellent as always as the weary cop.
