Cats would have grabbed both if they were not so young...Higgins and Dalhaus on the other hand , old and crap , so fits the Geelong recruiting strategy
32 year old jets + premiership window >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 27 year old spuds, likely bottom 4.

Never has a Normie had more clangers or a worse hair cut

He's only loaning the Norm Smith till he can return it to Tom Boyd, its rightful owner

Jack Billings

Jack Billings didn't need to change clubs to find a team stupid enough to overpay dearly for his services. On the back of a few good H&A games at the start of 2019 he signed a monster two year deal that made him one of St Kilda's highest paid players. As a pure outside finisher completely reliant on inside mids to give him the ball he's certainly not the player to build a team around despite the price-tag. He's a free agent this year which means he'll probably get overs on his next contract and the Saints will get another chance to draft a young kid one pick before another team picks a really good player (stick with your strengths Saints!)

Price: $800,000 per season (set to expire in 2021)
Jack Billings has laid just one tackle during the last 3 weeks.

Mitch McGoven

Pictured: a quick midnight snack for Mitch

Mitch McGovern is on a bloated contract at Carlton who seem to be paying him by the kilo.
Nicknamed 'Brackets' for the way his number 11 stretches across his back, Mitch is a handy VFL player who would play decoy at AFL level if he could run far enough.
If he drops a few kilos he is still a chance of fulfilling his lifelong dream of becoming a professional darts player.

Great trading again, Blues :thumbsu:
