If he wasn't deserving of a game I'm sure they, who are more knowledgeable than those who want him dropped, wouldn't be giving him a game. Simple!

they know how to develop youngsters, just stfu and let them do their job

So you have named the pick of the bunch, there are plenty others that they havent developed quite so well. Paddy Mac is one of them, has gone backwards on last years form despite having plenty of opportunities to prove himself, which is not a good sign for a younger player. Other younger players have continued to develop (Selwood, Gaff, Shuey, Masten, Sheppard, Brennan). Seems to be the flavour of the month though with the MC.

Think its time to give someone else an extended run like he has had.

... Sorry were we just quoting random players' names?

How can you say Brown and Weedon are bad if they haven't been developed yet?

Notte was a project player with a bad attitude.

Seriously, I don't get why people gets so anti one player like AHHH DELIST HIM. calm down its 1 spot on our list out of 40.

Because you suggested MacKenzie and Schofield were successes, and they were taken in the same draft and after Brown.

You've also suggested Gaff is a success, and he was drafted more recently than Weedon.

If those players by your criteria are 'good', then anyone not getting games drafted in the same period are are 'bad'.

I should point out that I don't believe we're anywhere near Melbourne levels of shockingness, but neither are we plucking players outside the first round and turning them into stars.

Anything top 5 should be a can't miss prospect. Schofield is probably the only real development success story out of that list.

Now, on with the McGinnity bashing! Did you see his hair on the weekend?

he's bad and doesn't deserve a spot in our side. he was good last year as a sub but has been our worst player week in week out.

so be quiet.

A very poor draft choice would be more to the point, particular at pick 20.

Notte was an ok choice, they just never found a way to get thought to him and get him/keep him motivated. As for your comment about "those more knowledgeable" Ted, with an attitude like that we wouldn't be able to question any choice, like, say, choosing Jaxxon Crabb and Callum Chambers over Simon Black..

McGinnity is playing like a dud and isn't even capable of tagging atm. Time for WAFL and earning back his spot. Why should we make room for passengers? If Daniel Kerr can get queried, then McGinnity is definitely not immune to criticism.

Notte was a poor choice from the point of view that our recruiters, the same ones that are still there, were in receipt of good professional information that the chances of him ever being physically strong enough to succeed in the AFL were extremely low. That subsequently proved to be the case, the old adage that you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear springs to mind.
I am not inferring that McGinnity deserves his place in the side nor that he shouldn't be dropped, what I am suggesting, in a round about way, is that those calling for his head should be directing their criticism at those who are picking him each week. Perhaps I should've put those more knowledgeable in inverted commas, as you have done, followed by a question mark.
As for the overlooking of Simon Black, I have been a vehement critic of that decision over many years both on BF and to the people responsible, it was possibly the worst recruiting blunder in the history of the Club,
