imo on sunday we have finally found the perfect set up with our talls

with the bookends in fev and jamison we have found the right flexability to match any team in the comp.

THORNTON- he can play tall or small and has become a leader in our defence

WAITE- reads the play well and is cool under pressure. is great as lose man in defence and can play forward or on the wing.

BOWER- he is developing in kpp but can play as hbf with run and drive from defence

KREUZER- he is chasing cox at the moment for the most athletic ruckmen in the comp. he 2nd and 3rd effort are 2nd to none. he always looks dangerous up forward.

CLOKE- he is not a fulltime ruckmen but if we need 5-10mins a game we will at least know he will give 100%. as a forward he has good hand and is not a bad kick either.

O'HAILPIN- hes not in our best 22 but hes flexablity is the key in the ruck he hard and is not afraid to put his body on the line. up forward he can be unpredictable and down back can play on the big key forward.

with this mix of players we can defend any thing the opposition throws at us, we can stretch any defence and be aggressive and skilled in the ruck.
now all we need to do is get our mix of smalls right

Talls who can play tall (marks and spoils) and move like a small player are gold. Pretty good list although Cloke hardly applies. There are blokes his height or more who are much better movers.

We need more of this type up forward and most of the defenders need to be tall mobile players. Our 95 backline was full of tall players who could play small and so are many premership sides.
