Considering it's spring, was bloody freezing where I was this morning.

Give it time.

We'll be sweating in our jocks at 7am soon enough.

Bob Maumill is leaving 6PR at the end of September. From his Facebook:

"I suppose it's no secret now. I will be finishing at 6PR at the end of September. I've had a great run, radio has been good to me. Audiences and managers have put up with my antics. I've met incredible people. But I want to leave before I am asked to.
Lot of young broadcasters ready to have a crack."

Bob Maumill is one of the best radio presenters I've heard, such a warm funny personality.

He was saying he's had a bad back the past few years which is why he was only doing Sunday mornings rather than weekdays, apparently 6PR were so desperate for him to stay on air they were thinking about allowing him to broadcast from home.

Only starting at 7? Must be a cooler summer this year

The change to the bike rule seems to have made it a little more chaotic - on the road when it's flowing nicely, up on to the path when the lights are red.

Had a near miss with a bike rider the other day. Bike rider in the bike lane on the left side street where stop sign was - me travelling past intersection and indicates to pull in to car bay. They ignore the stop sign and turn left into the path of my car entering the car bay - I copped a serious mouthful for not looking. Was ****ing gob smacked

TBH I don't even know if I was at fault considering they ignored the stop sign or doesn't that apply when there are bike lanes

When I was 16 I got pulled over for going through a stop sign on my bike and had to attend a road safety lecture.
And that should still happen! Especially to these leotard wearing tour de france wannabes.

Also, I was speaking to someone recently who was a native Perthite like me and he had no idea this was under the Stirling Bridge. Just curious how many here hadn't seen it/didn't know about it?
