Was your house built on a native burial ground?
No, in fact I got a lot of things done this summer, new storm water piping and soak wells (actually looking forward to the rain now!), repointing done (badly needed, almost all my retaining walls had bad fretting), garden cut back nice and tidy, power board was upgraded with individual RCDs, now the roof was cleaned, fixed up and painted. Just a bit pissed that I noticed a couple of spots on my roof that kind of looked like peeling heading home from dinner, I guess I couldnt see them in the glaring sun before as the roof is shiny as hell. It seems like such a small thing to ring and complain about but really the roof should be perfect and no peeling.

Noticing a couple of spots "heading home from dinner" sounds a bit vague - the light can play all sorts of tricks from a distance.

Before phoning, I would suggest getting up on the roof and inspecting the spots, and also the whole roof, close up.

Be careful up there, though!

Wasn't expecting rain this morning.
The weather forecasters got it wrong, they were forecasting a dry 36 degrees today similar to yesterday and it's currently low 20s and raining.

Do we call that rain? I could hear raindrops on my roof, but not sure any of the water made it to the ground.
It's been raining steadily here for the last hour or so.
