So whilst I thought the stadium itself was brilliant and good riddance Subi etc, one thing I did find annoying was when you get off the train at Perth to change trains they had half the walkway taped off. There was virtually nobody coming the other way so they were basically forcing 99% of the traffic through 50% of the walkway. Wtf? What other city would tape off half a passage at a train station just in case someone was coming the other way? Another strange thing was when we were getting on the connecting train they actually had danger tape between plastic bollards all along the platform which they put up when the train was loaded and doors closed. Again wtf? Only in perf.

Never go to the Camfield before games was what I learned from the weekend.

Much better to walk from Crown.

I don't get it. Camfield is closer. What am I missing?

I can't speak for before the game but there was a huge line after the game. Me and my mates were going to go in but decided against it when we saw the line.

I thought the day of the big beer barn was over with all the small bars etc.

why cant they sell some land and have a developer build a bunch of small units/terrace type buildings, perhaps around or next to some park, and allow small bars to open up.

Line for The Camfield at like 1530

I wonder what all the staff do for 2-3 hours while the game is on.
If the bounce down is at 4, they probably have a 12:00 to 6 shift then a 6-12 shift. Probably knock heaps of people of off at 4:30 in the arvo. Probably run by some hire place or something who knows.
