Seems that way. They just wanted a pool because gen y/millenials.So they left everything which increases a house's worth?
The couple seemed a bit special. Bought a 3x1 fixer upper for $600k or something, spent $200k I think on renovating the front and putting a ******* pool in (bobcat had to be craned into the back yard) and did nothing to the kitchen, bathroom or back yard then wondered why they couldn't sell it. Ended up it was still on the market although I just did a quick search and couldn't find it so maybe it's sold since filming.
Heck even most blokes these days would look at the kitchen first.who would renovate a home and not consider the bits women pay special attention to? nothing worse than a house with a shitty kitchen, no matter how hard you clean it, it still has a grubby dated feel. Same said with bathrooms.
Plus raise the ceiling and put in nice lighting.

I don't think the kitchen even had an oven ffs. Not sure about raising the ceiling but kitchen, bathroom and lighting are no brainers.. unless you have no brain I guess.who would renovate a home and not consider the bits women pay special attention to? nothing worse than a house with a shitty kitchen, no matter how hard you clean it, it still has a grubby dated feel. The power expense alone is enough to make me never want one. Add to that the actual maintenance involved in keeping it usable..**** having a pool, not worth the effort
Brits are very friendly.100%
culturally, the Canadian and Americans are far friendlier and courteous in day to day life (even if sometimes just a veneer) than Australians. Thus the system like that works there.
Australians, like the Brits, are an aggressive culture and thus need very clear rules to know exactly "who is in the right".
I don't think that's true at all. Australians are friendlier than most on a one-on-one level and Americans are just as big campaigners on the road as anywhere else.100%

Don't think they ever do. It's usually pretty easy to find though given they'll put something about selling houses in the write up.Did they provide the address?

Just checked out google maps thinking I might recognise it from the aerial given VP is pretty small. No dice. I think the pool wasn't a recent thing. They did that a few years ago.I remember seeing a place in Vic Park that had a pool put in, curious if it's the same one.
What do you mean? It was a 3x1 with a pool. No access either side of the house. Had a carport I think. What features did it have?

What's the address of the one you thought it was?OK, not the one I thought then. That had a drive down the side of the house. Sold $580k in 2012, $735k in 2018.
I'll have a gander on the Fox app at some stage.
What's the address of the one you thought it was?
Nah definitely not.157 Berwick.
Haha I thought exactly the same thing. The dude has a bit of the dangerfield about him
Nah definitely not.
But it's got a pool man!!Did they really pay $600k the spend $200k to get a best offer of $810k? LOL.
That is a nice enough house but they have spent $200k very poorly. I have friends that did a big reno and completely changed an old character home from a 2 or 3 x 1 into a 4 x 2. If you're going to spend that sort of money that's what you need to do to make a return on it.
