Perth is slowly but surely becoming more sub-tropical in climate. More moisture in summer and dryer winters.Feels like most of our hot days this year have been horribly humid instead of the tolerable dry heat
I wouldn't accept it.There are two tiles on my roof with a little bit of paint peeling from painting less than a week ago, is this acceptable?

Was your house built on a native burial ground? There are two tiles on my roof with a little bit of paint peeling from painting less than a week ago, is this acceptable?
No, in fact I got a lot of things done this summer, new storm water piping and soak wells (actually looking forward to the rain now!), repointing done (badly needed, almost all my retaining walls had bad fretting), garden cut back nice and tidy, power board was upgraded with individual RCDs, now the roof was cleaned, fixed up and painted. Just a bit pissed that I noticed a couple of spots on my roof that kind of looked like peeling heading home from dinner, I guess I couldnt see them in the glaring sun before as the roof is shiny as hell. It seems like such a small thing to ring and complain about but really the roof should be perfect and no peeling. Was your house built on a native burial ground?

Do we call that rain? I could hear raindrops on my roof, but not sure any of the water made it to the ground.Wasn't expecting rain this morning.

Nope, could hear the rain, but it was evaporating before it even hit the ground. Rode to work without a drop on me. Have been inside since. Surprised to hear it's been steady.Sounds like you live with ep2006.
how come rain evaporates on hot road surfaces which would not be 100 degrees?
has science lied to me?
