Have eaten there 3 times. First was awesome. Second was okay. Third was shit.
I don't think I've ever eaten there. Had drinks there once, but the WC Eagles players quotient was way too high.

I have still never been to the Aviary and it's something I'm very proud of. Almost as proud as not being to the Casino since the night of the 2014 World Cup.Could always go the Aviary and be very prepared to part with limbs.

Er no it's had carpet every time I've been there.Does it still have that astroturf for floor covering that will go out of fashion harder than shoulderpads and mullets?
That place looks pretty interesting and alcohol and pizza are two of my favourite things but it looks freaking tiny and they don't take reservations. If you want a good feed that won't break the bank and some beer/wine go to Alfred's Pizzeria.

Best glasses to take homeI don't get the Belgian Beer Cafe love. Their food is alright at best and the only thing I'll drink there is Hoegaarden.
Must be my age showing, but I don't think that's reasonable.I think the Grosvenor is pretty reasonable.
$24 for a steak sanger. $28 for a parmi.
For CBD? What would you call reasonable then?Must be my age showing, but I don't think that's reasonable.
I accept it's probably standard, CBD or otherwise, but I don't think you should be paying more than $20 for a steak sanga. For CBD? What would you call reasonable then?
Absolutely. But I've seen suburban pubs do $15 steak sanga and parmis. Let's hope it's a realisation that prices are way too high. I don't think you should pay more than $20 for pasta either; it's pretty straightforward. But so many pubs pile on more than you can eat and charge almost $30.Hmm.. Maybe I'm just used to being bent over for food in Perth. /shrug
I rate a pub on its beer and prices. But I don't eat parmis, overrated as they are.You rate a pub on its parmi. Therefore the Inglewood Hotel is awful. SPeaking on the Inglewood they've renamed their back bar and called it 'The Wood' advertising it as a new sports bar in Mt Lawley. Seeing as it's at the Inglewood do they think they're fooling anyone saying it's down the road? campaigners.
Yep its bsGrinds my gears how most places now you'll go to the bar and ask for a PINT, get charged $10 and get handed a SCHOONER!
