Generous Squire does good pub food and has an outdoor area. Frequent it whenever I am catching up before something in the city.

Question: is there anyway to prove that a speed camera is faulty? I saw one up ahead and was going below the speed limit (75 when supposed to be 80) and I still got flashed.

They do randomly flash sometimes but you dont recieve any fine.

Not uncommon to get flashed but no fine gets issued.

Good to know but say I do get one, how the hell am I supposed to prove otherwise? I was legitamitely staring at my speed the whole time and it was clearly under.

There was one on Orrong Rd near Pilbara St for ages that just used to flash for the sake of it.

It's hard to prove a camera is faulty, you don't exactly have access to expert evidence, but from my limited anecdotal experience if you turn up to court and it's such a small fine it gets dropped.

Their 'Flayva' wraps when made fresh and with proper amounts of salad are epic tho. Too bad 9/10 times they aren't...

Same, the only thing I get there if I ever get RR, usually I stick with Chicken treat.

It's all about compaction.

If they didn't compact the sand properly, it's going to sink.

I made my Contractor rip up my driveway because they didn't compact it properly and it started to sink.

I stood there, drinking beer, whilst they did it.

It's probably a sinkhole to the centre of the Earth.

There's a lot of shoddy paving, driveways etc. out there. Brick paving is actually very, very easy if you properly compact the area and get it level. If you don't do that then no matter how nicely you arrange the bricks they won't stay there.
