McClown has defended the police for using g2g to track people.

According to the radio ads the Thornlie Cockburn link is providing Perth its first East West rail connection.

It's certainly going to provide Perth with a peak hour traffic nightmare next Xmas when the Mandurah train line shuts for 20 days.

Tbf it's probably the best time to do it.

A lot of whinging from it anyway.

I love the 'arguments' that it's the worst time because people are using public transport for Boxing Day and New Years shopping - like the f*** do you think every worker and student has their own seat during the rest of the year?

Roughly when did the wildcats start wearing red? I remember them when I was younger as a white team with black or yellow alternative jerseys.
I think when Jack Bendat bought the club in 2007

Ah Freo, the scene of the days and nights of my (in)gloriously misspent youth, what has become of you? Once magnificent, an icon. Now? Shithole. I despair at its demise.

What went wrong and how do we get it back to its former glory?

100% agree

Fremantle council has a loser outlook on life and then wonders why the town they govern has turned to shit

There's still good bits. You just need to know where to look.

Agree the council has f’ed it on the whole though.

Like the City of Subiaco - relied on their glory days then ballsed it up by being too staid and conservative when it came time to modernise and are now being left behind - and due to inertia and word of mouth, may never catch up.

Young people (so not me) don't have a reason to go to Freo or Subi any more. There are also plenty of great places to eat, drink and socialise in Perth now outside the traditional entertainment precincts.
