Was driving back from Busso a few weeks ago in torrential rain and I was amazed how many idiots there were wanting to do 110+ like it was perfect conditions.

While we are at it, campaigners that turn into grandmas out for a Sunday drive when a tiny bit of moisture on the roads. Went to pick my dad up from the airport last night. Driving up the Kwinana, Roe, and Tonkin and not once got close to being able to hit 100 until I got onto Tonkin because of dumb campaigners in the right lane not willing to get close to the speed limit.

Also, the fact that Roe is only 2 lanes is an absolute ****ing disgrace. There is no logical reason as to why it is any less than 4 lanes.

in the 13 years i have lived in Qld, twice i have nearly been hit, once as a pedestrian and once in my car. Both times the cars had WA licence plates!

We're already a mix between LA and Houston. Only advantage we have over LA is we aren't hemmed in by mountains on the doorstep of the coast.

I think the last Rock It festival I went to at Arena Joondalup I think was the 2006 one. Possibly 2009. I remember then that the freeway finished at Hodges Drive and there really wasn't much north or inland of Joondalup. The freeway now goes to Alkimos, the train and Marmion Ave both go to Yanchep. The development in 10-15 years has been huge. But we just keep adding to the urban sprawl even though it is at least connected by rail. Whether we make major roads 2 or 3 or 4 lanes congestion is only going to get worse if we keep extending the corridors.

Bit random but I had the best coffee I've literally ever consumed in Perth at a place called Black Honey in the cbd. They do an awesome brekkie toastie as well for like $6 too. Amazing

It's near the turnstiles for the Perth Underground train station. You can get to it either via the entrance from Raine Square or the Perth Underground Entrance itself.

203.8mm for August to go with 174.4 in July and 101 in June. Pretty good result but Winter is done in 3 days so it's time to move on. We got decent rain, you psychopaths got your 5 degree mornings but it's done. Finito.

5 days of sunny and 20+ from tomorrow. Time to ease into Spring. Or the second half of Djilba if you prefer. Makuru can GTFO.

Early forecasts have another 40mm or so between next Wednesday through Friday as well as a thunderstorm. It ain't quite over yet.
