Sorry to hear about the pregnant woman who was struck on the head randomly by a loser throwing a piece of concrete. I dont understand people. I remember years ago walking home from work and some loser threw half a brick at me, missed me by an inch, no provocation, nothing. Just some idiot trying to start a fight.

I just read this story.......WTF is wrong with some people?

I'm so confused as to why or how this can happen, thus bewildered as to the solution other than boring "throw away the key"

The good news is that the pageant is not at 3.00am - Santa will be tucked up home in bed

I think the real problem will be that it’s not big enough to handle what you think would be a decent size crowd

Throw in that it’s witching hour and that there’s a significant homeless contingent at that end of town and I can’t see it being as welcoming as Fed square

If I’m honest, I’ve always wondered why they put it where they did

With Balga most of the houses are being knocked down to cram in 3-4 town houses so i wouldn't say that is regenerating the area but fitting more people in closer to the city.

Just for one night, for the experience, get a room in Armadale or Midland. You'll go to sleep with the soothing sounds of burn outs and the smell of burnt rubber.

Then to start your day no need for an alarm clock, as the sounds of cop and ambo sirens will get you up and about.

I was tired on the way home and accidentally turned left on the Great Eastern Hwy into Midland instead of right into the hills.

Before turning back the right way out of interest we went for a very quick drive through the hood including the length of Bushby street where the 3 AFL players were from. I sure as hell wouldn't like being anywhere around there on foot past sunset.
