Street naming is becoming as ******ed as child naming. Can't settle for "street" "road" "avenue" there's always some never heard of street type popping up in these new suburbs

Look I don't want to be that guy, I'd just stew on it if this was a party and I'd just met him, but I've gotta note the elephant: gaskin sticking up for shit suburbs makes me wonder what 'Aubin Grove,' wherever that is, must be like

The only one we have disagreed on is Yangebup. I'll admit it is a bit shit but I have never had any problems there and neither have any of my mates who live/have lived there or my Grandma who lives there. Would I move there? No I wouldn't but it's far from one of the worst suburbs around.

Rockingham is the inbred capital of WA, possibly even Australia. I have family in Warnboro and thank f*** we can skip going through Rockingham altogether. I agree on Armadale. When I played junior footy we used to play against Armadale and I feared for my life every time we had to play out there. Yangebup is okay though.

Is it really inbred?

Last time I went through everyone seemed to be a Pom

Rockingham is a step up from most places in UK. Those pommy campaigners think themselves so classy and like to take the high ground on Aussies but the truth is they out bogan most FIFO workers.

Conjure up a city embodying all things right about cities. Assuming you lean toward the progressive, I’ll wager your rendering includes the following: multiple parks and waterfronts; spotless subways and free public buses; restaurant menus with organic, locally sourced food and wine; cool bars in heritage buildings; and pop-up everything, from farmers’ markets to cinema and yoga.

Welcome to Perth.

The capital of Western Australia, where some 1.8 of the state’s two million residents live, left this New Yorker mesmerized: Could a city really be so easy, breezy, green and pristine — so positively livable? I’d thought Williamsburg was hipster heaven; it pales beside Perth.

I work with a guy from Sheffield. He went to Perth a few weeks back. Tried to tell me there was nothing to do and Perth was a country town. Sheffield. Lol.

Spent 22 years in Rockingham without so much as a strange glance, drove through Yangebub one night and had a giant rock thrown at my windscreen by abo's.

Ahh that's right, Lydia from Breaking Bad drank Stevia didn't she!

Lydia and Pete Evans, yikes.

Any other Mandurah folk on here?

But then you could use this argument for everything – literally all but one suburb could be "at least not the worst." It's a ****ing hole

Okay, I was thinking about this last night, but why can't you get jugs anywhere in Perth? I know a few places do them, but more often than not its pints or middies. Any idea?
