Definitely. Nothing guys want more than a Carrie Bradshaw wannabe who documents the hundreds of disappointing men she dates online.

Perth girls massively believe their own publicity. There are some good ones, but they are in the minority relative to the average looking ones with outrageously high expectations.

I've always thought Perth girls had a chip on their shoulder and most were stand offish when approached for a bit of chat (as compared to those from over east). With friends, we ran the theory that the higher number of men in Perth meant the women could pick and chose a bit more, and were probably somewhat harassed.

Might have been part of the reason I wound up at the Mustang bar that night and found a girl from Italy. 10 years on and I'm glad Perth girls are the way they are.
 
Interestingly I have two daughters who say that Perth guys are just looking for a quick bit rather than a relationship - seems lots of people looking in the wrong places. If only everyone could find the perfect meeting market

People on social media complaining about a K Mart store opening up and having too many bottle shops opening.

You, like, live in a suburb that was predominantly wetland 10 years ago, is a fair distance from the CBD and most places where millionaires live, this suburb has a mix of working and middle class residents and certain retailers have understandably found a place to do their business where it will be successful.

Lol at anyone who chooses to live in a suburb like Baldivis, Butler or Southern River expecting to be treated like a Claremont resident just because they live in a two storey home designed by Perceptions.

Personally I think everyone has the right to be treated the same way as someone living in Claremont. I shouldn't have to settle for unsavoury behaviour just because I've chosen to live in a particular suburb - it should be discouraged and acted on no matter where you live

All for acting on anti social behaviour but what's happening is just more options to shop at rather than people spending more money and drinking more etc.

And what's anti social about having a Kmart store?

It wasn't entirely my point anyway. There is a large number of average, boring middle income bogans in this city who act like their shit don't stink.

That's not a Perth thing, that's a standard line anywhere. Guys just want sex, girls want love etc.

Everyone has their own perspective but from my experience guys are a lot more up front about what they're actually looking for.

Can't disagree with this. Problem is a lot of them act like they're Victoria's Secret models and the guy:girl ration is 10:1 when the reality is they're far from it and it's a 55/45 split at a stretch.
 
There are 2 types of girl in Perth. The bogan or the wannabe socialite. That's it. Neither are particularly attractive options

Women in this city are very strange, it is very hard to have a convo with one (who isn't a friend of mine or below the age of 35) about normal everyday life topics.
