Just had the shittest coffee at Garden City this afternoon. Ended up throwing half of it out- which I have never done before! That's the last time I'm buying from the Coffee Club.

I'm sure they used recycled water from their dishwasher. It tasted burnt and watery, and it was way, way, waaayy too hot.

The worst thing was that it spoiled the taste of the beautiful white chocolate donut that I'd bought from Dreamy Donuts.

This song is for you, Coffee Club!!

The Coffee Club

That's where we wont meet you.

Sucks that it is the only cafe, along with muffin break within a walk of my place.

Don't understand why tbh
Don't think it's disrespectful, just unnecessary but it's always nice to get a holiday
Nothing wrong with keeping things shut till 11am, then letting businesses open if they want to after that, like they do over east. It was how it was in Perth 5 years ago. Closed all day is a bit OTT

You can watch a footy match, get shitfaced in a pub, but low behold if you need to go to a shop....

Reminded me of the Footscray banner in round 1.

Something like " if you think Tom Boyd is expensive, try buying coffee in Perth".

At least you're able to walk to a coffee shop!

Muffin break is one of the more expensive coffee shops around- don't they charge something like $6 for a large coffee? At least it tastes nice, I suppose.

Nah I haven't, what is it? Any good?
Haven't been there yet. Don't even know where it is- just heard it was opening up but the website wasn't very helpful so I didn't know if it had opened already or was about to open or what. It's Krispy Kreme, I think- couldn't think of the name of it earlier. Darned Alzheimer's

Coffee club is disgusting anywhere.
Booragoon used to be one of my favourite places. Now I feel like asking their management if they ever sit down and drink a coffee there, themselves. They need to do a taste test now and then. The baristas seem to change regularly.

It was only a few months ago that I walked in there and bought a flat white. Took my first sip and groaned in pleasure- the coffee was absolutely delicious! the past two visits, I have had boiled dishwater - which is still far too hot to drink even 30 minutes later. What does that tell you about how it's made?

Don't worry, Scotland- hopefully the fascination won't last long. And Bunnings is open early. I can't see any of the doughnut lovers getting out of bed to eat a 7am doughnut.. can you? :p

No, but I also don't get up at 7am on a Saturday for a bag of potting mix and a hot dog. The whole set up for cars entering Bunnings and the shopping precinct next door from Leach Hwy westbound is shit to start with. Adding a new joint that is going to have hundreds of people all popping in an out for 5 minutes at a time is going to turn it into gridlock for a while.

I definitely agree with you on the setup of the road there, in front of the fast food places. I travelled that route every Saturday in winter for over 10 years, as my kids played netball in Freo. The RH lane was always a mess, with everyone trying to get into the slip lanes to turn into the eateries. Obviously nothing has changed.
And I can understand why you don't want to get up at 7am for your sausage sizzle- but I do think they start cooking fairly early there, so it could be an option ;)

7am? Why wait, if it's 24 hours like Whitfords you could go there at 2am

******* Krispy Kreme is going to **** up my trips to Bunnings.
I hate Bunnings, killed the small hardware shops where you could actually get decent service and advice. And a lot of the time they aren't even cheap, heck they can actually be expensive. It's the price we have paid for the convenience of having everything in one place I guess..
