True. i work with a guy whos mates with the bloke who owns Jesters here in WA and also owns KK in WA. So he naturally wanted to sell KK's at Jesters. Not sure what other companies he has.

Where is the place to be for the dawn service tomorrow ? I've never been to one up here in Perth. I'm assuming every man and his dog will be at Kings Park, and im south of the river so maybe Canning would be the best option ?
The hawkers' market has had some actual, real doughnuts every week.

Check out your local RSL on the Internet- or just google ANZAC Dawn Service. Most RSLs have one, so you should find one close to you. We normally go to Palmyra-Bicton on Leach Hwy cnr Foss St- next to McDonald's. Starts at 6am

Where SOR? Fremantle usually gets a big turn out.

I was thinking of going to one a bit bigger than the one at Belmont, and the canning one sounds alright..
Do all the dawn services start at 5 30 ? Web sites mention "dawn service" but they don't mention what time.

The Dawn service at Cannington was 6am last year- I can't get onto this year's info cos the page won't load.
With all the recent hype and the fact that it's the first centenary, I'd get there early, if I were you.

The one at Kings Park starts at 5:50 so I'd assume all the others will start around the same time.
Can confirm the ad board at Bull Creek has been switched off.

With all the budget restraints and cuts going on, it would be interesting to see what the tally would be for the bits and pieces that are a waste of tax payers funds - you know the ones: chauffeurs, florists, flights, artwork, billboards, advertising, sponsorship (why does someone like western power need to sponsor stuff - it's government money from a government funded department)

APN Outdoor (Trading) Pty Ltd is paying the Government a minimum of $6.2 million over the life of the 10-year contract for the signs, with an option for four additional signs if the Government is satisfied with the operation.

EDIT- there is already Infinite Energy and Alinta Energy providing alternative electricity, so now the Government power company has to compete.
