The weather today was magnificent. I was walking home from the bus stop about 5:30 and it was spectacular- warm but not hot with a nice cool breeze. Perfect weather and how it should be all year round.

This, we're at the stage when it can get cold, while gradually heating up a bit. My view may be clouded due to bloody school uniform but still.

That is true. I left for Uni at at 6:30 and it was bloody freezing.

On the contrary, I left for uni at 2, cruising down West Coast Highway with the windows down. Absolutely beautiful.

These are the daily temps for last September, October and November- somehow it feels a lot hotter when you jump 10º from one day to the next, don't you think?

it's the price we pay for the warm clear days. I don't mind it 'cos I am usually indoors at night and in the car in the early morning. (thank goodness for seat heaters! )

Thank your lucky stars you don't live in Melbourne or, worse, Tassie, then, hey? My daughter's in NZ atm- south of Christchurch ... now THAT is freezing!!! (That was after a week in Queenstown, NZ, which was even freezinger!)

I remember a description of a male suspect that was 180cm, medium build, brown hair wearing blue jeans and a dark jumper. I reckon that narrowed it down to 45% of the population.

Bloody hell.. it's high time they cleared that park out. You'd have to have rocks in your head to walk through it. I always go around. I pity the poor tourists that don't know any better.

Interestingly, a colleague and I were having lunch at the Opal Café which is on the corner, at the time this was going down. Incidences like this always get me to thinking about how life just continues on regardless of what is going on in our own at that very moment in time. Deep I know, but I felt the same when my dad passed - couldn't get my head around how people were still laughing and getting on with living when we were grieving - I was relatively young at the time though and it was the first time I had lost someone really close to me so maybe that's why my thoughts headed in that direction.
