Today marks 1 years since this thread began. 246 pages in that time is not a bad effort (although most are filled up with complaining about drivers or the weather) but with Teriyakicat posting in here, I'm surprised the thread isn't double the size.

I propose a toast to BALKAN - the OP of this thread, without whom we would not have had 365 days filled with moaning and whining errr ... I mean fun, laughs and educated discussion. ;)

To Balkan!!

My bee in the bonnet ATM is the construction of bike lanes on Scarborough beach road in Mt Hawthorn/North Perth. Super busy road which has now been reduced to one lane in either direction and I'm still to see a ****ing bike use it. I don't have a problem with City of Vincent investing in these bike lanes closer to the city but the reality is that up until Oxford Street there are no bike lanes along scabs road and once you get to Charles Street it stops - like, what is the ****ing point

Are you not from WA?
I think that's pretty normal for Armahole...
Nah I am, I just try to avoid that place like the plague generally, even though it's probably my closest centre.

Scabs Beach Rd bike lanes are just the first stage, they will extend all the way to Fitzgerald eventually. The road really isnt that busy tbh

Could really use DLS up in the Kimberley. Its bright sunshine at 5am and the sun sets by 5:15pm.
