Life sometimes just isn't fair. A girl I went to high school with lost her husband after a long battle with cancer last year. This year their family farm near Yarloop has been devastated by the fires and they aren't sure if all their animals are ok currently.

We had some rain in Waroona an hour ago & a little irregular drizzle. Harvey is in deep shit now. We may get power today but doubtful. Still very smoky here. A lot of farmers angry at town meeting, mainly about roads and access. Dont know what to say its just terrible on so many levels. We are a lot luckier than yarloop. Reports of looting
