Big difference though between occasional curses at themselves and a broken racquet or two, and abusing the umpire and officials and sledging your opponent, amongst others.

The one consolation is that he is still young and that surely he'd improve his behaviour as his career develops. Surely.
You'd bloody hope that his behaviour improves.

I swear, all young tennis players are campaigners.

Many of them grow up having adults fawning over them and blowing smoke up their arse. Yes I'm generalising but many are pampered upper middle-class FIGJAM campaigners. That said, once they start down the gruelling path of the tour and grafting wins where they can to make a living humility soon catches up.

I'm watching this show on CH9 about Perth pub bands in the late 70's and into the 90's

I was never into the that scene (kinda wish I was tbh) but a lot of the names are familiar

It's been a good show so far

Did Keith McDonald at the Fairway Tavern crack a mention?

Those were the days - Dave Warner "just a suburban boy"
The Charles
Balga Tavern (seven mile in now)
Nookenburra Tavern
The Herdie

Saw INXS at the Wintersun in Geraldton. The Angels and Ji mmy Barnes as well - the pub scene was great on a Friday and Saturday night

Remember the statue on top of the Nookie? People used to steal his spear all the time. So strayn. Lol.

Weren't most of them cover bands? Seems a bit weird to celebrate that.

Dave Warner and the Suburbs were fantastic though.

Crazy storm down my way. Thunderstorms and lightning very very frightening.

Partly cloudy. Slight (30%) chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the far southern suburbs.. Winds easterly 15 to 25 km/h.

I think there has been a mistake...

What's the mistake? The 30% came through.

Anyone down at the foreshore?

When I was in Perth I just went with the parentals to the Armadale one, can drink whatever you want with no douchebags about (mainly because only the families and Poidas go to it).

Fremantle fireworks I have heard is a great alternative.

If you're at the fireworks tonight, sure, why not?
No sorry, knackered so bailed before the crowds left. Site rules meant full sleeves, long pants and hard hats which is a lot of fun on fresh hardstand.
