Just drive out along Armadale Rd and you'll go past probably 3-4 of them.

Why would anyone want to do that though? You'll probably get car jacked.

I haven't even heard of half those places.

Lived there my whole life...wouldn't trade it for anything

OK,

Maybe a place in the Peppermint Grove :p

That's abit harsh.

6112 is safe......If you lived in the area your whole life. Its what shits me about these new suburbs, Families buy in on the idea that its a safe place to raise a family...Its not. :D

Best place to eat breakfast in Perth?

Moana Coffee in the Hay st mall does a pretty good breakfast.

Bit pricey from memory but the couple of times I've been there it's been good. :thumbsu::thumbsu:

**** going out in Perth is rubbish. The $1.70 concession zone 2 is pretty good but jesus, the tyranny of distance takes away the fun. Pubs are full of arseclows and clubs are half-empty and dull.

I apologise that our city doesn't meet your exacting standards.
Good one. Perth's best traits aren't its nightlife and that's not an issue – just like Melbourne has shit beaches and terrible summers. Are you just too uptight to cop any criticism?

WA needs to seriously relax liquor licensing laws so more bars can open up, and there is increased competition and variety as a result. And less overcrowded pubs.

Better off if you are young these days if you want a big night out just get a couple of E tablets, cheaper, less likely to get in trouble and probably have a better time in general. Even as someone as an adult now that earns ok money it's hard to justify going out and spending $12+ on a pints of beer.

Criticism is healthy.

Unless it comes from insufferable flogs who have no idea.

Surely the simple, country girls of WA would be swooning all over your worldly charm, no?

Pre drink before you go out and don't buy any while you're out seems to be the only way to do it.
It's such a shame that this is a viable solution. Firstly, it eliminates the fun that you have, sharing drinks with your friends when you're out and b) it suggests that the only way you CAN have fun is to drink before you go out... which I find very sad.

I'm not a drinker but am all for cheaper drinks so people CAN enjoy a few beers/wines/whatevers when they're out and about.

I have no idea how a student could even afford to go out drinking in Perth these days.

Have a big night very rarely and any other time just have a couple of pints. That's how I do it anyway.

Saw on Reddit that Harbour town was bought out and is re-named Water Town? Can anyone confirm? Haven't been there in ages.
