Armadale is a strange mix because of the hills and the flats in close proximity. The hills side of the railway line isn't too bad, lived in and around there for many years, only moved away last year.

Indeed my friend, it is sort of like living in the Lord of the Rings triology.

There are a lot of orcs, more geography than on most of the Perth costal plane, and yet there are brave hobbits and elves holding on to eternal light too.

It is a strange place.

And being no stranger to strange, I call it home.

Yeah I've got friends who live in there. Quite normal and nice houses. A small pocket of brightness in an otherwise ####hole of a district that is Kwinana.

If anyone who lives NOR ever gets a chance to drop into Kwinana hub shopping centre one day, hang around for awhile and watch the freaks and ferals go by.

You'll go home and never complain again about the shitty areas near your neighbourhood.
I'm living in the rural part of Wellard these days. Kwinana and Wellard Village are my nearest shipping centres. Agree with you about the Kwinana shops (not called The Hub any more) there's some outliers on the human spectrum there. But I like the Wellard Village area, has a different feel about it, but is still very much an unfinished work in progress.

Looks like I moved out just in time if they are letting Collingwood supporters in :p

Westminster represent! Had my car tagged, yes tagged and also broken into. Whilst it had a $250 cricket bat in the back seat they only stole loose change and a can of deodorant. There was a villa being built behind the place we rented and would often see people coming out of the portaloo that was on the nature strip that was meant for the builders :thumbsu:

I agree, always use the ones at Garbo's when it gets too busy. Come @ me, parents with prams who actually need them.
In all seriousness, they actually do serve a very good purpose. They allow a pram between cars so when you have multiple kids, you don't have to leave one behind the car near the traffic, and they limit the hazard for little ones who have poor road sense.

Dont complain when some excitable toddler opens his door a little too hard and hits your car then. Soccer mum SUV on soccer mum SUV the damage is small but anything smaller look out. I have the child lock on mine but you never know with others

Happens in any bay in any car park. At least I don't have to walk so far to and from the shop for my ding and/or scratch.

I remember once when walking through the Galleria car park and thinking about people dinging cars then 5 seconds later some old bloke backs into another car and then casually cruises off.

McGowan is a good politician but zero charisma. He also lacks the venom to go the current Government and keep them honest with their blatant **** ups with many things.

My nanna lived there for a decade. She got her unit broken into quite a few times.

Apparently that fire in Joondalup yesterday was started by some clown trying to burn a clearing in some bushland so he had room to pitch his tent.

A real bright idea on a 40 degree day.

Guys please stop talking about your povo suburbs, you're making me depressed

We don't care because we're campaigners. If depression is the price you pay for living in a non-povo suburb then you can have it. We are happy.

I've lived in three main cities in my life..Melbourne, Gold Coast and Perth.

All three have their nice areas along with the ghetto areas.

Just the way it is.

What is a ghetto area on the Gold Coast then? Never been there might I add just intrigued on what would be in them.

The west side of Pacific hwy mainly..Nerang..where no tourists would bother going unless they're driving through to the mountains.

Back of Burleigh Heads has areas straight outta compton..a few other pockets of suburbs here and there.

Most of the things they've 'stuffed up' are related to not predicting the end of the mining boom though right? I doubt Labor would have either.

Given the way everyone ramped up production it shouldn't have been too hard to predict that the price would fall.
