No adds are a positive, but the negative is that it's still Triple J.

Used to listen to 720 on the way home but Jane Marwick is intolerable. Needs to go back to being 'vacuous female who laughs at male co-hosts inane jokes' on commercial radio.

I miss Russell Woolf, he was great value with his afternoon drive show.

Peter Bell is pretty good on 6PR in the afternoons and Bobby Maumill on Sunday mornings or whenever he fills in during the week.

Apart from that Perth radio is shithouse.

There is one listener here.

You have to pay a lot of money to be part of the ratings as they are mainly there so your sales staff can show them to potential sponsors and sell airtime. Sport FM probably wouldn't be able to afford it. RTR FM wouldn't care about ratings as they don't have the same modus operandi to generate income.

I flick between RTR and ABC depending on the time of day. Jane Marwick is dog shit. She should learn how to press the right buttons and not sound like a bogan. Interesting to see who they get to replace good old daggy-music-playing-never-talked-about-himself-at-all-and-definitely-didn't-have-an-ego Cammo for the breakfast show. Ross Solly and Woolf are both stay at home dads so it won't be either of them.

Commercial radio is horrible but that 92.9 breakfast show needs to be dragged out on to the street and shot. The bird on there with her articles on perthnow are so rancid I can't help but listen/read them sometimes to get angry. It's like another version of cutting yourself I guess. Only her and Rebecca Judd bring out my inner misogynist.

Well said. She also over enunciates RANDOM words and SAYS things like UUUUUUUUUUMMM and thinks it's champagne comedy to ask the guy from main roads how many coffees he's had every ****ing day. I seriously tried for a few weeks (actually hoping she was temporary) but have given up now and switched off.

I didn't mind Cammo. May not agree with some of his opinions or music choices but at least he was a professional and easy to listen to. Last time I tuned in there was some pommie git on who was as boring as batshit.
