Since when did we have a suburb called Oakford?
Since forever. It was there when I was a pimply kid at highschool, and I'm mid-40s now.

Damn city farmers!!Oakford isn't really a suburb in the sense of a sea of houses that all look the same.
It's where you live if you want to pretend you live in the country and have horses etc. but still want to clog up the roads by commuting into the city every day.

i'm shocked to be sitting here
I know this is the Perth thread, but WTF is with that boat up in Gero?
We were trying to sell a house but have given up and rented it out again. It's a buyers market at the moment that's for sure. Even getting it rented has been a struggle actually.Dont know where you guys all are, but there has been a massive spike in the amount of junkies walking around my (northern) suburb in the last year or so. Or on bicycles.
Is anyone trying to sell a house? My wife and I have an offer on what we think is our dream house, subject to the sale of ours. Had almost zero interest on ours and its been 3 weeks. Havent had more than 1 person come through for the home opens.

I have read that apparently things are starting to turn but I'm not seeing it. Good luck.
Probably not what you want to hear but since November last year..Thanks.
Out of interest, how long did you have yours on the market?

3 weeks? Jesus. I don't know the specifics of your house or how you've priced it, but be prepared to wait a lot longer than that.
If you haven't already, check out some of the other houses in your area you're competing with. Not surprised I haven't sold in 3 weeks but to have pretty much zero interest after opening up twice each weekend for the last 3 weeks is a little disheartening. We might look at dropping the price on ours in the next couple of weeks, but if we don't get this house weve put an offer on its not like its not the end of the world.
Lol do you even have a house?
