Yeah that I can get behind. Perth these days has become this cesspool of people just going to events so they can check in on facebook and be perceived to be doing something different all the time. Then they go to a show and don't even watch the artist play.

Went to the hawkers stalls in the city tonight. Superb! City was absolutely heaving

Likewise, after watching the Cats dispatch the Taipans.

Had a cachapa. Venezuelan, sweet corn tortilla/pancake type thing with shredded beef, beans and cheese. Did enjoy. Had I got there earlier they had chicken, pork infused with chocolate (???) and a chorizo/bean mix. Win.

I remember the old Rollercoaster festival in 2008. Shirtless bogans hanging out at the bar all day and throwing water bottles at all the artists on stage. It was that festival where sneaky sound system walked off stage ten minutes into their act because the female lead singer got sconed in the eye. And the living end almost,walked off after some dickhead jumped on stage. The useless female security guards at the entry gates led a lot to be desired too.

The festival was canned completely after that.

3 people plus 2coffees and juice... was around $18 for meals. Crazy stuff. Wasn't even that good.

Went to the Hyde Park last night, must say not impressed.

No band, no atmosphere, not even a juke box.

The sign outside said free live music, nibbles and drinks every Friday and Saturday night. I didn't see any nibbles and there were bean bags on the stage instead of a band.
