Speaking of that, does it shit anyone else that any time there is any sort of storm in Sydney its the headline news for days? GAGF I say, I don't give a rats arse about it.

We just need some coastal houses to get washed away from the sea surge, probably won't happen though as we have decent sized beaches.

There's been rain, hail and sunshine so far today.

That's why I like winter here with the southerly busters as the weather changes it up, in summer here it's just hot non stop and boring as batshit.

Summer is shit house here, far too many blistering hot days.

Wonder how the wafl will go today

Went and watched South v Claremont. Was freezing and the rain was pretty much constant. Went on the oval at 1/4 and 3/4 time and the turf was shit house. Spongy, muddy and all cut up. I loved playing in the wet when I played juniors but I felt sorry for the players out there today.

Was at two games today. Morning colts at Steel blue was fine weather but alot of the ground was in poor shape but the lack of rain made it an alright game. The afternoon one in Freo was a shocker, pretty sure everyone wanted the game over as soon as possible. Looking at the scores from around the grounds we got the best game of the round too

You can't work at Bunnings forever. Well not in my opinion anyway.

I used to work a Coles and probably made $200 a week. That was heaps when I was 18. If you ever want to buy a house, have kids etc. then you need the monies.

Why not - my BIL started off at Bunnings on the floor and has worked his way through to management. Same for the husband of a friend who started on the floor at myer and now manages one of the stores - doing very well indeed

There's workers who have kids and a mortage at plenty of stores and get by just fine.
