Chicken treat are barely holdiing on, closest one to craigie is up at joondalup.

I live close to craigie and the fish and chip shop at kallaroo (otherside of marmion ave) does a great feed and its run by nice scottish couple.

Can't go past padbury pizza (otherside of whitfords ave from craigie), reasonably priced and good selection.

Sucks about chicken treat, they do the best chicken rolls and chips

All Chicken Treat stores will be Oportos or Red Roosters within three years IMO. Every CT store I have been too seems to be struggling to get patronage. The local one is already an Oporto and the one where I used to live is always devoid of customers.


They seem to get a very bad wrap for their shocking customer service of late on social media.

My local Chooks became a Chicken Treat, and seems to have been doing okay for a couple of years now.

The local Red Rooster became an Oporto, though. The next closest one renovated but there's barely anyone there.

Rumour has it that Chicken Treat sold off a lof of their stores/gave them up to Oporto because of high running costs, leases etc

Apparently they will be back - just in smaller and cheaper locations..

I guess that's why they are still out in some of the burbs...and Stratton!

Chicken Treat, Red Rooster and Oporto are all owned by the same company, so any stores changing from one to the other is just marketing.

Oporto is new to WA so I'm guessing the number of their stores will rise in the near future.

Chicken treat are barely holding on, closest one to craigie is padbury, I once saw Blair Evans the olmypic swimmer in there and she was looking pretty damn fine whilst she ordered her chicken roll combo.
