Bloody HUGE!!!
Just opened up a big new section to the north.
Haven't done anything good to alleviate their traffic woes, though. Stupid double lane roundabout smack bang just inside the entrance... nobody knows how to use them- they don't indicate, they cross over lanes while going around. You've got to do a u-turn there to access MacDonald's etc.
still not enough parks- or there won't be, at Christmas.

Lol. And I barrack for Geelong but only go to Vic once every couple of years :(

I drove past the site of Freo's new training ground on Sat. There's a big fence up on the western side that I hasn't noticed before- though don't go that way very often.
All the Christmas trees there will be bulldozed :(
Such a shame for that to happen- all for the sake of a very ordinary footy club ;)
Jks :D

The roundabout is great. Normally if you come in from the Wentworth entrance you could be sitting there for 10 minutes waiting to turn but now you will actually be able to get in quite quickly. The u-turn to access McDonalds and Red Rooster is a bit shit though. As for parking spots, no matter what they do there will never be enough. They should have taken a bit of extra time and built a multi-story carpark like they have at Joondalup.

More a fan of Phoenix Park?

At the moment I'd rather go to Phoenix if it was just for grocery shopping. Gateways is an absolute cluster f*** at the moment while the novelty of having new stores is still high.

Roundabout is great for us getting in- but crap for people on the LHS (new carpark) who can't get out because of the constant incoming traffic :) So- in conclusion- new road alterations make it easy to get in but harder to get out!

Came out via Wentworth the last two visits there and it was very quiet :) Did a little happy dance in my head ;)

Having the shopping centre hard up against the railway to the east, then right up on a main road to the north, means they are limited as to how they design their entries and exits. I usually come right up north lake road or go east onto Beeliar.

My dog hates storms though. Tried to hitch a ride with us this morning, then broke through the front fence and followed the car down the street :( Poor bugger. Had to bring him back inside and lock him up.
Just as long as that little rooster with the mohawk is alright :)

Good for window shopping. Maybe one day I can afford a $1000 party dress or a $300 bikini. Not many mens clothing stores at Claremont though?

Who needs clothing. Just give me a salted caramel cake from Koko Black and I'm sweet!
