Probably, it was named after someone – I remember the GPS not working in my mate's car en route.

Channel 7 talking about irrelevant swimming lessons and "SEEK AND DESTROOOOY" like that was the angle, considering a young person died, was just typical. It was angering to hear.
It's been a long time since ive been to Albany but cheynes beach is basically where the whaling station was is it not. I remember that swimming near there was a bit of a no no because sharks were used to going there but this was 20+years ago when the whaling station wasn't all that long ago. Suspect it may be different nowPretty hollowing hearing about the young man taken out at Cheynes in Albany today. I saw him graduate six weeks ago and remember thinking about how much life and fun all those blokes and girls had in front of them. Sad stuff and a very normal, independent, up for anything, classic young person.
The day DK Lillee and his son tore Pakistan a new one at Lilac Hill.Bit behind, but how good is this ground. Admittedly played a fair bit of cricket for Midland-Guildford but the setting is pretty darn nice. Not a whole lot of grounds border a river from what I know. The Charity Match was out of this world as well.
Lets not get started on Casino bouncers. They are getting slammed by all and sundry I know at present. Seems that Ryan Harris was right in that tweet after the WACA test last year.

Hi guys not sure if this is the place, but could anyone recommend:
- Good beachy pubs in the Perth region?
- Venue for Australia Day/Hottest 100 (perhaps ties in with question 1)
- Any other good joints (live music, food or just bad ass activites for a group of dudes to do)
Cheers
Aubin Grove TavernWhat area are you looking for? CBD only or are you willing to travel a bit?
I've heard about these taxi things but I've never actually been able to catch one in Perth..Taxi drivers are a bizarre protected species in the media and society - sure their job sucks but considering the prevalence of taxi rape et al as well as mild things like ripping off drunkards, the way they're held in such "leave me alone!" Is bizarre
