Do WA people get annoyed at the odd start times of AFL games (or other sports) to cater for tv viewers in the eastern states? Or are most people used it, or simply don't give a heck?

As most of the others have said I'm pretty much used to it. Some of the times are actually a lot better in certain cases.

The start times for BBL games in Perth are rather unreasonable, 4:10pm is far too early. 4:40pm would be a lot fairer and more reasonable. ODI's start here at 11:20am usually to cater for the eastern states which I think isn't right. 12pm or 12:20pm would be a lot better in my opinion, at least part of the game would take place at night then.

Good to see our three World Cup games starting at 2:30pm though, a proper day/night game!

Kram, it's not all over too quickly when your team wins - you get to watch it all over and over and over until it's waaayyy past your 7pm bedtime!!

That's probably one of the worst things that can happen to a cup of coffee!
Apart from having to be made at Gloria Jeans, who somehow always seem to make them taste like shit. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that GJ do actually use powdered dung mixed with their coffee beans.

The other coffee shops at Gateways are all good- though a couple are a bit more expensive than others. I also call in and get coffee from Cafe Nocello - they open after 10am. Thank goodness Gloriarse Jeans has been replaced by another mob. Shingle Inn or something.
My favourite coffee atm would be probably from the cafe owned by IGA on Farrington Rd in Leeming. I go out of my way to get one from there.

Haha- oh yeah! I remember reading about that crap. Nah- it just goes to show that, if you price something high enough that it becomes exclusive, pretentious people will all be sucked into consuming it.... even crap!

Chocolate-coated dried dog turds are next on the "most wanted" list. Just tell 'em that it's a delicacy in some foreign land and watch them go all out to buy it!!

I cant drink coffee due to it giving me instant migraines.

The Little Concept in Freo does some really good hot chocolates, so that is my place of choice if I'm in the mood for a day trip.
