Planes have got a lot less noisy these days. I remember when i was a student at Curtin in the 90s and the lectures/tutors had to pause when a 747 went overhead. These days I work in Cannington, which is even closer, but it's only the odd one or two old planes that make a lot of noise. The new Dreamliners are remarkably quiet for their size, I reckon they make less noise than a 737.

Did you find that in Armadale or Kelmscott?

Owners havent been able to get redevelopment approval until recently. A few weeks ago I read it got approved.

Speaking of markets, is the one that looks like it's part of an industrial estate still going?

The one with the roof that's not closed in.

I think it's near a freeway.

Not Spearwood Markets/Stock Rd markets?
Canning Vale markets are next to Roe Hwy.

Just checked Street View and definitely not Spearwood.

What kfc1 said is right.

I do this, but on the northern line. And it is all in the name of comfort.

Get on a Perth, get off at Warwick, get on a Warwick, get off at Greenwood.

Only way you can get a seat or at least stand in comfort.

Dont tell anyone though
I do the same! I'd rather stand and wait the extra few minutes out in the open air at Warwick than the Perth Underground too.

So I am going to WA for 10 days next week.

What the **** is there to do?

Mate lives in Bunbury

If you are staying in Bunbury check out the Mash brewery down there, foods decent and some good beer.

You are half way to Margaret River so the obligatory wine tour will be in order.

If you're taking your kid with you, Adventure World in Bibra Lake's your go.

If you're going to Bunbury, take the time and go a bit further south. There is nothing between Bunbury and Perth.

Nothing - if it's not happening in Victoria it's not happening anywhere.
Let us know what you find so that we can amuse ourselves the next time we venture south.
