The 29th March

They're on my way home from work so I walk past them every night. Plenty of chances still:thumbsu:

Walked past the night noodle markets on my way to the train station. Smelled great.
It's less exciting if you want to walk through there during the day, and they have the entire area fenced off with security guards so you have to go all the way around.

Went to the noodle markets - queues pretty long - good crowd numbers.

Had a couple of pork sliders which were pretty hum and then headed to the hawkers markets to see what they had on display.

Lots of people in the City - really happy feel to the night

I remember pulling a hot 18 year old in Perth when I was 28. Went back to her place, she lived with her parents, and she rode me so damn hard she broke her bed.

She was an absolute honey. Didnt wear a rubber either.

Went last night too. The satay sticks from Hoy Pinoy were actually amazing. Worth the lineup in my opinion. Had to get myself some pork buns too.

Make sure you bring cash though if you go as they obviously don't use EFTPOS.

Is that the one near the entry?

They were smoking up a storm and looked really nice. Figured the line would be smaller on Monday so I'll give them a go then.

Noodle market thing sounds like a pretty hip event - are they charging hispter prices?

Parking was an absolute nightmare though. Did have a nice festive feel to it. Will probably try it as well.

That's pretty expensive but then again my pork sliders were 2 for 12 and they weren't much more than a couple of mouthfuls and the other halfs pad Thai was $15. The line for Print Hall was long but the satay stick line took it too another level.

What I found interesting was the section closest to the art gallery had a guy doing head counts and stopping people entering whereas the top section and Beaufort street entry had no such thing.

Made the decision to park near my brothers at the top end of William Street where Palazzo autos is and walked. Best decision IMO - traffic was intense in the area

Just like with pubs they hit these stalls hard with $$$ over red tape costs.

That's what we were discussing - how much was city of perth charging for stalls and then of course there is the hire of generators and fridges etc., staff and of course they need to make a profit - all in all it is in line with what we've come to expect and happily pay for

Happily?

Judging by the numbers there (and a worker said it had been like that all week), the number of people in forest chase at hawkers markets and the number of people in restaurants then yes you have to say happily. If we aren't then we stay away until they get the message and that's just not happening is it?

You're new to BF obviously and haven't worked it all out yet mate.

Posts like the one you put up in a thread like this are not going to be welcomed too much.

There's other threads on boards (this board included) where that sort of stuff belongs.
