Dog laws on crap removal are in place because dogs are walked or exercised where people walk and there are a lot of them. Dogs are also meat eaters, so their crap is toxic. Horses are transportation, so they are mainly in the street where people shouldn't be walking. You want the cops to cause a traffic snarl every time PC Dobbin drops a bomb?
If I knew where the cops were taking their horses, I'd follow them with a shovel and a garbage bag so i could have free fertiliser for my garden ;)
Only problem with that is that my dog loves to roll in it... ewww...

Mr Barnett has defended the freeway billboards and has said its up to drivers to stay alert. What then is the purpose if no one is supposed to be looking at them

For the passengers I guess

I'm talking foot paths Reg, especially around the horse shoe bridge and Wellington Street in particular

Now who would have a thought a horse would be on the horseshoe bridge? :p

Is it a sign of mid life crisis if you have switched to 720 talk back in the morning?

I've done worse - I now listen to 6ix :$
I didn't realise I was old until I realised I knew the words to all the songs that were playing and realised I missed them

What do people think of the screen displaying advertisement on the freeway-leach highway underpass (heading north)? The missus thinks it is stupid because it might be distracting.
I haven't seen it yet, but can imagine it being a bit of a distraction

I've found Melbourne has become too overrated here and Perth somewhat underrated. The only reason I would ever go back to Melbourne would be to watch the footy or maybe catch up with some friends. Even they wonder why Perth people think Melbourne is so great.
I used to think Melbourne had more to offer than Perth until I was over there during a stinking hot day and missed our beaches

I don't listen to the radio much at all- what's 6ix? ie what do they play? Do they have those horrible drive shows that seem to be on everywhere at the times I'm most likely to be in my car?

I find that I'm most likely to have my iPhone playing music in my car- if I could find a radio station that played more songs than ads or inane chatter, I'd probably listen to it.

You know whats worse...

Im 25 hahahaha

It's been shown that those who listen to talkback while driving are less inclined to be distracted while driving.
Think of it as your contribution to the community

They play music from the 60's-90's
I just got so tired of the doof doof shit that my kids put on and the constant inane banter from breakfast and drive programs. I wanted something that I could sing along too (badly) and made me feel good listening to it.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy some of the music that's around at the moment but I just like easy listening when I'm driving

I'm likely to be in my car some time between 7-8am and 3-4pm. Is that still music time?
I might try 6ix. Will look it up.

Do you have an iPod/iPhone ? If so, maybe your kids can hook it up in your car for you.
