My clothes have been put on the line tonight. Hope it holds for 20 hours.
If we only get a few mm, I'd say your clothes will be almost dry, then get rained on, then will be dry by the time you get home tomorrow night.

... unless, of course, we get rain in the late afternoon, then you're stuffed! :P

Was she hot?
hahaha- she looked pretty young and sprightly ;)

I haven't seen a fox out that way for about 10 years. Used to occasionally see them run across Murdoch Drive, between Murdoch Uni and SJOG hospital. Now it's all built up out there, I thought they were gone for good.

Looks like they've just gone to ground, though ;)

junior footy finally starting tonight.. My sons U15 side... Perfect weather for footy

It's days like these I look at our clear blue skies and have a small chuckle at the other states and their poverty weather
*sigh
Yeah, we are so very lucky, aren't we?
Apparently we have the most sunlight out of all the Aussie cities. I'm so glad I live here and not back in Melbourne.

Seems pretty late to start. Although my hockey started in March while the mrs hockey team doesn't start til mid May

I have been in Brisbane for work for a couple of days. There is so much rain that taxis do life jacket demonstrations when taking a new fare.

I admit I love the gloomy rainy weather too, but even here it sometimes drags on for too long and I need some sunlight and warmth. Would hate to live somewhere where that was the norm.

I like the cold rainy weather :( shouldn't have moved to Perth thats for sure :p

My eldest son and youngest daughter love the cold wet weather too- they always have the aircon on full blast in the summer, while the rest of us freeze to death. Lucky my son has now moved out :) He can freeze his own house out! When it's 30º outside, my daughter tells me to put a jumper on so she can turn the aircon down colder! wtf?

having said that, I do love a rainy night... or day... :)

Yeah I don't have aircon and don't really mind the summers to be honest but I love rainy foggy days like when I was growing up in the Adelaide hills. Can definitely see why people love Perths weather though.

Don't you want to move to Bosnia?

Yes, Bosnia has a good balance of sunny days without getting too hot, plus I love snow :) Of course I'm not moving there for the weather so I'd make exceptions in any case

They've postponed the annual ANZAC league test tonight till Sunday, that's another postponement of a major sporting match due to rain over there.

Craving an awesome gourmet hotdog.. any other places besides Run Amuk?

Love Run Amuk, but a tad far in freo. Used to love Snags and Sons in Leedys but they got moved to Northies then closed down for some reason. :(
Plenty of wanky gourmet burger places around (which Im not complaining about) so surely hot dogs are next?

People are careless on Kwinana freeway , needs to be another lane
You might be right. My son said the fog is often quite bad out that way and thought reducing the speed might help, as well as putting up warning signs - but people aren't going to slow down during those hours when the recent accidents have happened. (early hours of the morning).

On a bright note, the southbound entry lanes at Roe, Berrigan and Armadale will all be closed in a few days' time. It looks like there isn't a real lot of work left to do on the current widening between Roe and Armadale :)
