We haven't had confirmation that kfc1 is actually driving us down yet - perhaps I can hire a mini van and we can all go down.
Anyone else??

and if WE'd known that you were driving through, we could've saved ourselves a trip!I drove back through Bunbury at 2am earlier this week... If I'd known, I could have stopped off for some quality home appliances.

You'd do your dough if it's the Burwood Kmart. I used to pop in there at all hours when we had babies and it was always busy. I'd go there at 3am and there'd be 60 cars in the carpark and people pushing around trollies with toddlers in them. Crazy.I bet it's pretty bloody empty at 10pm.
I remember going to Target in Freo one Friday night about 10 years ago. My family and I were the only people in the shop, apart from the employees, and that was at about 6-7pm!

It was Australia's first 24-hr trader. I can't explain it but it's worth a look. I used to be blown away by how many people were in there and the fact that they weren't all stoners loading up on Doritos
You're joking!!???
Toddlers at 3am?? That's super-crazy!!
Then the parents wonder why the kids can't sleep!!![]()
haha- I guess it's a bit like DudshedIt was Australia's first 24-hr trader. I can't explain it but it's worth a look. I used to be blown away by how many people were in there and the fact that they weren't all stoners loading up on Doritos
People seem to be always driving in and out of that place all hours of the night..That's good to know, gaskin. What main road is that near? I haven't been out that way for ages.Just got back from The Last Drop in Beeliar. I've been meaning to go there since it opened but never had the chance but I have to say it was quite good. The food was nice and the Pilsener beer they do wasn't too shabby either. The service was excellent too. I'd recommend it if you are in the area.

Last Drop do great beers, wish their pubs were a bit easier to get to by PT tho so i could really indulge
AH, yeah, I know the place, I think. Haven't been there but have driven past a fair few times but not taken any notice. It's on the corner of Beeliar Drive and Hammond Road where the lights are.
it's certainly made Hammond Rd very busy! I can't believe how many shops are hidden away back there now- I remember when it was all just paddocks then I used to take my son driving around there when the building first started. There were just open areas and all these nice little quiet roads. That intersection just keeps getting better and better.![]()

Ha got a lot of quiet road driving practice down there too. What a shit intersection to get through before the lights but.it's certainly made Hammond Rd very busy! We used to come north back up Hammond and go home via North Lake Rd to the other side of the freeway via Berrigan. Yeah, it was pretty shitty if you went the other way but I was lucky I didn't drive that way much. It'd be bad during school drop off and pick up times, especially, I expect?Ha got a lot of quiet road driving practice down there too. What a shit intersection to get through before the lights but.
Yeah I wasn't out practicing while the moms on a mission where out.We used to come north back up Hammond and go home via North Lake Rd to the other side of the freeway via Berrigan. Could say that with most schools though.Around the start and finish times for Emmanuel you would be crazy to go anywhere near there.

If there are roadworks in the area as well Avoid.Schools are OK to navigate around at peak time- just make sure you don't EVER have to turn right, for goodness sake!!![]()
I had to take my youngest daughter out to Canning Vale instead, at the end of last year when she got her Ls. Far out- that place is really really tough to drive around as a new learner. There are frigging little lakes and dips and no sides to sloping roads that end up in ditches and everything (this is out in Piara Waters or around that way).Yeah I wasn't out practicing while the moms on a mission where out.
I guess a lot of roads are easier because they are 40 kph near schools but the speed limit on Beeliar doesn't drop, does it?True but trying to pull out onto Beeliar Drive from Hammond was torture.
Where have you moved to, Van Dyke?If there are roadworks in the area as well Avoid.
I know Jackson Av near Winthrop Primary recently had some roadworks done few weeks back. If only I was still there.
