This "storm" is struggling - rain was minimal to say the least. If it lasted 5 minutes I would be lying
Possible rainfall: 4 to 10mm
Would have had that, and it was 12 degrees at 10 in the morning, unheard of in Dec. Loving it today frankly, fined up now though.

I will acknowledge it was freezing this morning but I just didn't get that sort of rain unless it was early morning

The pageant organisers would be disappointed

Daughter went to the polo and she said while it was cold there was minimal rain. If it wasn't for the dam needing rain I would be bitching about being cold in December

Whoever made the call to cancel the Christmas pageant must be feeling pretty silly about now.

No shit, a few hours earlier and it would have saved a couple of hours work yesterday, and a couple on monday.

Reading the comments about the cancellation on channel 7's FB page, some people are convinced it was cancelled due to a terrorist threat. I love Perth.

Most people would pay to see the bell tower blown up

I did a quote in Atwell at about 1pm yesterday and it was bucketing down. An hour later the sun was out. A momentary lapse of summer for a brief time.

Is the Bell Tower hurting anyone? Is it destroying Perth's economy?

It's atrocious but who cares if it sits there.
I think it looks good. Would prefer if it was 4 times bigger as it was initially designed before all the sooks screamed. This is the biggest positive of Barnett because he just don't give a f*ck and builds it anyway. It's not a genuine tourist attraction but it's better than another beige building.

Ultimately though, as you say, it's doing no harm. Destroying it is ****ing moronic.

Its OK, as mentioned it would be better if it was way way bigger.
