I'm not sure why. There's a big contingent of eagle supporters that do it regardless of score line. Beating the traffic > another boring old win at home. :thumbsu:
There's a big contingent of people who do it at every sporting event and concert.

Okay. Calm down. It was just a joke mate.
Yeah, I know. I'm not bothered by it. I always stay to the end, couldn't really give a shit if other people leave early, and I catch the train anyway so I don't have to worry about the traffic getting out! My seats are right next to the away fan's block at the city end too, so last year at least I was able to see them flooding out early on a regular basis. A couple of years ago was less fun...

Heatwave incoming... 40 40 40 39 in a couple of days

This summer has been pretty mild so far by Perth standards, I had a feeling it wasn't going to last though.

Looks like we're in for a campaigner of a week heatwise.

Just wait until the week after, when the above weather drifts across the continent to Melbourne. THEN we'll hear all about what a heatwave really is!

I sat in the second tier for the first time ever last season, and it took ****ing forever to leave Domain after the game ended. Ended up missing my train and subsequent bus, got home an hour later than I usually do. So I empathise with those who leave just before final siren.

People of Perth, we are tackling the tough issues here...

Parma vs Parmi.

I order Chicken Parma's only heard Parmi when I was over East.

You know the temperature is above 27 in Melbourne when the heat thread gets bumped.

IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD. IT's ACTUALLY ABOVE 30. WE WILL ALL DIE. YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND OUR PAIN

Don't eat it so I wouldn't know.

Surf and Turf or Reef and Beef FTW.

Have never thought of the parmi v parma thing.

I'm originally from Vic so it's a parmi every day of the week.

But can't recall anyone saying Parma here...intriguing.

I'm sure if you asked your fellow Freo fans would have helped you get out a bit sooner?

I'm a born and raised sandgroper and don't recall anyone calling it a parma specifically. It's just a parmi.. or a parmy. straya.

Whatever you want to call it though it's ****ing delicious and I love it.
