Anyone parked in the Convention Centre car park recently? More lumps and humps than a Baywatch reunion.

At least when it sinks in the ground people will stop complaining it's ugly.

Parked there last week. Over $16 for three hours, thieving mongrels.

well you are plebs who will be shocked when Elizabeth Quay is flooded and the GPO building falls over :thumbsu:
Well thanks to one of the site managers I now know why the water park is ****ed. No suprises its because all the plumbing is shit and needs to be redone. Apparently brought in some eastern state mob of plumbers to do it, who technically aren't licensed then as such to do work here so they are trying to hush that part up.

Ah well, thank god I can do most of my post office type shopping online. I remember going there at lunchtime to stand in a queue to pay bills, in the dark distant past when I used to work in the city.
Me also, one memory was of a bored looking Glen Jakovich sitting behind the teller serving me being trained. Eagles must have decided being a mechanic was too much strain for him.

Surprised that he was capable of it.

Must have been an eagles thing to get young blokes into banks back then. I remember seeing a young ash mcintosh working in what was then challenge bank near the Wesley church on William street in the city

Karl Langdon reckons he was working in a bank when it was robbed by Brendan "postcard bandit" Abbott. So looks like it might have been a theme for young footballers.

Big Jo Angel the former WA circketer and 4 Test superstar was a postie in the CBD back in his playing days. I remember seeing him walking round the city with his post trolley.
