We used to go on roadtrips all the time when I was a kid. Since growing up a bit they've been few and far between and my knowledge of outside Perth is pretty limited. With that being said, IDGAF I am not an outdoorsman.

Went to the Kattanning show for work once, thought I was going to get r*ped.

One of my fave Perth memories is heading to the Pinnacles and as soon as we stepped outside the car we pretty much had a fly suit on. No where in my life have I ever seen so many fly's.

Is there a decent bar in Scarborough yet? Not coming back until there is.

I'm another Perthite that has seen bugger all up North but has seen just about every place in the South West.

The South West is a better place to go on a driving trip though, more places to see, great beaches, wineries/breweries, forests, cooler weather etc.

Driving up North, you can drive for hours and see nothing but dirt, dust and scrub and it's hot as hell, not really all that appealing.

When ever we've had relatives/friends come over to visit WA we would always take them on a trip down South somewhere, never up North.

A lot of the better bars and clubs in Scarborough have been shut down, it's pretty dead in terms of nightlife these days.

Have been everywhere except the Kimberley really.

Was in Kal for the first time since 16 the other day. Love that town as an adult. Expensive but very social. The Marissa Tomei lookalike American chick was a skimpy at a bar in Boulder was also very hot and could hold up a conversation.

I went on a road trip around SE WA when young loved it. Perth was OK but tbh didn't really enjoy it asI went mid summer and got caught in a predictable heat wave.

The whole much publicised 'improved' landscape around the cbd with the new bars, Elizabeth quay etc - its massively over rated. The city is still a giant unappealing, inaccessible shit hole. Hate going there now as much as I did 10 years ago. Maybe even more. The amount of homeless people now is so sad. Contrasted against the total pretentious wank vibe of the place - the city is a living contradiction.

Still massive pockets of the city that are absolute dumps. Take Wellington St near harbour town and around Royal Perth hospital. And towards east Perth near Wellington square.

Don't even mention the urban pimples on the arse of humanity that are the busport and train station.

Gibb River Rd - One day I'll do it.
Cape Leveque - I was hitching between Derby and Broome once and had to turn down the offer to spend some time in a community up there because I had a plane to catch. I'll get there one day.
Karijini NP - Yes
Ningaloo - Almost every year
Canning Stock Route - no
Meekatharra pub - I've been to the Sandstone pub, does that count?
