Most kebab shops do something similar, I think they just call them meat boxes or something similar.

You can feel your arteries harden as you work your way through one.

35 calls and count less resumes once the ad went live. 45 mins later....it's absolutely scary out there at the moment

Sure is. I work at woolies and they're opening a new store near me and they had 1700 applications for 3 positions. ****ing crazy.

Osborne Park. Yeah the government freeze is on till 30th June. They are starting to advertise but only positions with exemptions. Ive applied for over 40 jobs. I've had to apply to newstart to help. Grrr. I got a phone call last week from a job i applied for. Said i could only do mornings as I've got my kid to run around at night to stuff. They didn't ring back. Im over it.

I don't know your circumstances so my intent is not to shit you off but when it's that tough to get a job then people really aren't in a position to be putting conditions in place - I'm not surprised you didn't get a call back

It's the same in all government positions. Hiring freeze has been in place for years in Dept of Education, for example.

I get it . Unfortunately when you are a single parent and the father is not in his life and you have limited support then hands are a bit tied.
