The Philadelphia Experiment - Maxey Better Sadly

Is this the same Fultz who can't make a jumper and really doesn't offer anything? Yes Ben can't shoot but at least he can actually pass and get his team mates open shots. I wouldn't be depending on Fultz either. Some mental thing going on with him I don't believe the shoulder thing one bit.

Where was the Fultz comparison to Simmons?

And no, Fultz can't shoot and his ceiling as an NBA player will be determined by that fact. But nearly all other aspects of his game - finishing at the rim, defensive positioning, rebounding, playmaking has consistently improved, bar that final game.

TJ and Embiid are the only true Process Sixers left, so I'll stan for him for eternity but suggesting that he's better for this team than Fultz, yips and all, is wild.

Yikes....
I was watching at the start and it was s**t... Obviously didn't improve and got worse when I was able to watch again last quarter..

We looked flat and lazy, and they couldn't miss

Yeah it was just overall a flat effort
Didn’t make them work hard enough for points.

Wow Jimmy f—king Butler yet again!!!
Pretty poor play draw-up out of the time-out if I’m honest; but let Butler do his thing has worked twice now so can’t complain.

Some terrible misses on O end meant Nets got a lead way higher than they should have but the 4th was terrific on both ends. Really impressed.

That was nuts! I had a few spare hours in between shifts at work. Watched up until half time and then shut it off and had a little nap. Woke up with 2 minutes left thankfully. Should never have been in that position to start with, but it was a case of them nailing everything and 76ers couldn't hit anything. How was the confidence of Jimmy letting the clock wind down... Amazing

It's not a 'PC brigade', it's just dumb. Why is it funny?
The petition will never result in a ban...lol,
If you had a look at the serious nature of some of the petitions on change.org, you'd see what a joke that story is when there are so many more pressing issues that need the publicity! Each to their own?!

Yah it's not specifically the petition, just the general vibe around it. I get some things are intended to be funny, but why is it actually funny. Like what's the punchline?

You need to keep up, maybe a little Caitlyn will do it for ya:tearsofjoy:

I'd like at some point if we could step up the perimeter defense, that'd be pretty sweet. Really need someone who can guard opposition PG's, they're giving the job to Jimmy atm but you can tell he's more suited to guarding wings.
Jrue Holiday 30
E’Twaun Moore 30

Rodney Hood 25
Collin Sexton 23

D’Angelo Russell 38
Spencer Dinwiddie 31

Interestingly these are the the Guards scoring stats since Fultz's absence

I was just watching this, Embiid's pro debut and his first bucket and how hype the crowd gets really brings a smile to my face. Really shouldn't be forgotten how he almost never stepped on a court and how absurd it is he's this good while dealing the injuries and only picking up playing later in life and coming from a foreign country to do it. All that as well as having a very infectious and easy to root for personality.

If Fultz can't shoot and can't make a free throw he simply wouldn't be able to play minutes for us in a playoff series. Can you imagine if a team went hack-a-Fultz in a game? He would be benched immediately.

He is more athletic and better at getting to the rim than TJ, for sure. But the flaws in his game are so massive and would be exploited heavily in any playoff series (like they were last year and he was removed from the rotation for TJ).

There are not many PGs in the NBA that survive without having an ability to catch and shoot a basketball, get defended only in the paint when they have the ball, not guarded when without the ball whilst also cannot make FT's at a rate above the average centre. Not only does the shooting effect Fultz ceiling, it will effect his ability to stay in the NBA.

The fresh team idea could even be worse for him, as he won't have the trust and respect of his team mates and coach. He could get buried very quickly in another situation as teams may not see the benefit to playing him developmental minutes over their other home grown talent.

I would be confident that Fultz won't have his 4th Year $12M option declined next season based on the current situation and his only hope may be on a minimum contract type second draft role like Mudijay and Burke etc. are on. The G league should be an option for him also to hone his confidence and talent.

Just a strange situation, his shooting mechanics and confidence in shooting have dropped off almost on a week by week basis since the beginning of the year. I have no idea what is going through his head. It has been a rollercoaster with him all year and I suspect that after the latest 'Specialist Visit' Brett Brown and Elton Brand have had enough and just want to move forward with the team and not have to deal with this.

Why was Fultz taken pick 1?
And correct me if im wrong...didnt the 76ers trade up to get him?
As good as Embiid and Simmons are the 76ers have a really bad recent history of high picks.

He was the consensus #1 pick. The guy we got/you've seen isn't at all the guy they drafted. Some weirdddd s**t happened at some point to his mind/body that no one really knows.

Finally a game where I could take it easy and not worry about us blowing a big lead in the last.
Certainly helps when the Knicks players were more concerned with trying to build a house with all those bricks. Probably the best job the team has done tho in containing penetration and good perimeter looks tho.
