Good win in the end. Ben, Joel and Mike  the best today.
Pretty great hustle from Moose, really needed it at times too.

Team is just going okay at the minute, but at least we're getting wins while just getting things together. The China trip, injuries, roster changes and bloated schedule with half our road games being on the second half of back2backs havn't helped either but now's a good chance to get some more comfortable wins together with the schedule softening up.

Yup - just one more against a better or roughly .500 team on Thursday (NOP), then a softer run of 4 games leading into a busy December.

If can go 4-1 and be 16-8 that would be excellent.

Yeah we are only going ok at the moment. Winning games from basically 4 or 5 players atm. Our bench is not great atm.

Would you try and get Beal? I would've prefered him to Butler but Jimmy seems to be really into the Philly style. That hug with AI was great to see.

I think if we're talking fit in general Beal would be > Butler, but I was thinking about it before and you'd have to give up (pre jimmy trade) Roco/Dario/salary filler, prob more valuable picks for something that might not even move the needle and kill wing depth which we're still weak on even bringing in Butler. At least getting Jimmy compensates for losing Roco's defense which if we substitute trading Beal in we don't get that.

Fair enough. Maybe I just like Beals game to much.

What do you think we will do with him?
Would he be worth much on the trade table?
Would have minimal value at all, if not negative value in a trade.

10 Million Dollars owed next season, going to be interesting what they do with that. Ideally we flip Fultz to a team for an expiring contract that can contribute to the team for the rest of the season. I have basically zero faith that he will outperform that contract next season when we should be trying to contend with a big 3 of Joel Jimmy and Ben.

Long term Fultz doesn't really have a role here also. We need role players that defend and shoot alongside our big 3. Next season if he can't shoot still (which is what you would have to expect) than he would be a backup PG in his third year making 10 million dollars. This is not a good situation for the sixers to be in.

I wonder whether the Sixers go down a path of lawyering up and trying to fight the obligation to have the 10 Million salary cap hit next year due to breach of contract etc. This whole situation could get even more messy than it already is. Fultz is literally following last years path of not playing for an extended period when our doctors and medical staff believe he is healthy.

Cut our losses ASAP and move on and try to add pieces that fit and can compliment our best players please.

Granted I'm a relatively new NBA fan . . But this Fultz stuff is the most bizarre stuff I've ever seen in a lifetime of following sport

Simmons (no shooting, love life, injury), Embiid (injury, scary potential, trash talk), Fultz (all round nuts), Zhaire and his sesame allergy, Colangelos tweets, Hinkle and the process, Redick and the taxi, Meek Mill, Iverson..... Would be barely believable as a soap opera script.

Someones going to write an amazing book or make an amazing movie one day especially if they ever win a ring. Or even if they don't.

Predictable outcome after deciding to start Fultz at the beginning of the season.

Don't envy the position Brett had in juggling it all, but playing TJ over him in the second against PHX was a mistake. The energy excuse was lame, because that's not Fultz's problem and his lack of production is what happens when you play him w/ the back end of the bench.

Never going to call a 20-year-old whose lost something that made him special above everyone else, in a way that even he doesn't quite understand why, a headcase, but the coddling he's received by the fans is probably at it's end point. I do actually hope that the specialist finds something wrong, because that would make everything so much more easier moving forward. Either way, wouldn't make a decision on his future here until the offseason.

Should be looking at playing Shake until however long Fultz will be out for.

Completely disagree with the bolded. Fultz had his worst half of the year, was not aggressive at all and not playing with any energy.

Our schedule had been game heavy too and we needed TJ's energy and demeanour. He pumped up the crowd and got the gym rolling with a couple of nice defensive plays and transition running. Fultz defensively made some bad plays and has a constant knack for fouling Jump Shooters.

Really hope we see some Shake as our roster is quite thin at the moment. Looks like for today we will only have:
Embiid/Amir
Chandler/Muscala
Butler/Korkmaz
Redick/Shamet
Simmons/TJ

Bolden, Zhaire, Fultz, Patton all out injured.

Time to unleash the Shake. If we cop another in game injury we could be down to only 9 guys which is incredibly thin for a regular season game.

I'm not watching these games, but if the answer to solve an apparent lack of energy in the team is to bring TJ against one of the league's worst teams, then you've got bigger problems.

Fultz camp quietly asking for a trade because he knows he will be glued to the bench now..

I’m over this guy the coddling has got to stop he is a number 1 pick and our team can make the finals without him..

The fan base will turn on him quickly too. TJ would be cheaper and better next year than Fultz and puts it on the line every night..

Move on Markelle find a new slant with another team to explain your problems and sit on the bench

If you ever need a summation of why you play Fultz over McConnell in any situation, in any game...just look at where TJ moves to when he doesn't have the ball in his hands, and Embiid's getting double teamed in the post. Spoiler: He doesn't (and it wouldn't matter even if he did)
